Fall Yard Sale

The RCA Fall Yard Sale is this Saturday, September 26th, from 7:30am-1:30pm at the Loehmann’s Plaza Shopping Center on Randolph Road. Booth space is free to paid RCA members, all others pay $10. RCA volunteers will be on hand to collect RCA membership forms and dues.

Make sure you come check out the fun, there will be plenty of good stuff to buy, food and fun for the whole family. See you there!

Rockville Pike Traffic to Shift to New Bridge

Traffic on Rockville Pike will be shifted to a new bridge built over Montrose/Randolph Road during the next two weekends.



With Several Master Plans Up for Approval, Residents Hope Details Get Worked Out

The council will deliberate three new county master plans in the coming months— White Flint, Gaithersburg West and Kensington—as well as specifics of the new Commercial-Residential Zone, which is being crafted to encourage mixed-use developments of residential, retail and commercial space within those plans.

Next Neighborhood Meeting This Thursday

Our next General Meeting will be held this Thursday, September 10, 2009 at 8:00 p.m. We meet at the Veirs Mill Rec Center, view map.

We will be featuring Roger Berliner, our District One member of the County Council and Marc Elrich one of the At-Large members of the County Council. Unfortunately, Council Member Berliner will be unable to attend. Hope to see you there!
