The RCA Community Bazaar (formerly the Fall Yard Sale) is this weekend. Join us on Saturday, May 5th, 2012 from 8:00am-1:00pm at Loehmann’s Plaza.

Show up early and claim a good spot! RCA members get a free space; Non-members pay $10 per space. Remember, you must bring your own tables.

Randolph Civic Association signIt’s that time of year again and your RCA membership is more important than ever before. As we work to continually improve our neighborhood, your $10 membership and continued participation are critical to the success of programs like the Neighborhood Watch and publications like the Echo. Like many neighborhoods within the County, we face challenges. Whether it’s demanding more of Pepco or fighting for new amenities in our parks, the advocacy function of the RCA gives us a much needed voice.

Community Day Wrap Up

Our first annual Community Day was a blast, despite the weather. Hope all that came out had a great time. Thanks to the volunteers who worked to pull the event together.

We’d also like to thank The Stepping Stones, Advance Martial Arts and Mr. Knick Knack for performing. A special thank you to Dynamite Gymnastics for being gracious hosts.

 

Next Neighborhood Meeting This Thursday

Our next General Meeting will be held this Thursday, September 10, 2009 at 8:00 p.m. We meet at the Veirs Mill Rec Center, view map.

We will be featuring Roger Berliner, our District One member of the County Council and Marc Elrich one of the At-Large members of the County Council. Unfortunately, Council Member Berliner will be unable to attend. Hope to see you there!
